A recent backpacking trip to the Eastern Sierras yielded some amazing scenes. I wanted to enhance the drama captured and also simplify the connection between us and the environment so I chose to edit them in black and white. An ode to Ansel Adams if you will. We stayed a total of two nights camping, swimming in ice cold waters, laughing and looking out for one another. It was an amazing trip all around.
On a brief extended weekend journey to Costa Rica I was able to capture some of the beauty of this captivating location. From finding wild puma tracks on a remote island to enjoying relaxing accommodations. With lush vegetation and a wide spectrum of wildlife. Costa Rica brought a kind of calming effect most are seeking.
During the height of the pandemic there was not much of any travel going on. I decided to reach out to a local fitness product company to see what I could come up with for a collaboration.
With an LA rooftop during golden hour and a fitness friend I was more than satisfied with the results.
I chose the Santa Monica pier as a location to incorporate some type of vintage feel to match the color and style of the jacket.

On location for Jaguar I was loaned their new electric car to take photos in and around San Francisco, California. I was greeted with fog and some moody lighting which played well with the silver color of the car.
